Patriot

Patriot Campus offers a diverse, supportive, and respectful learning environment that combines creativity and commitment from students, teachers, and parents.  We believe in addressing the full spectrum of student needs and offer students a variety of services to help them be successful in middle school and high school.

Families should consider attending Patriot Campus if they need a place for their child to be known, cared for, and personally connect to their education through a culture of high standards and support.

Patriot Campus prepares students for their transitions from middle school to high school and for life beyond through in-person developmentally appropriate programming. We pride ourselves on strong adult-student relationships with small class sizes and dedicated home rooms (or advisories). Students will receive the support they need to find success and will be held accountable for educational and personal growth. We are equally focused on academic skills and professional skills, ensuring that students are prepared for life beyond high school.

Patriot Campus is a choice enrollment school that focuses on offering a non-traditional learning environment through relationships, relevance and rigor.

Relationships:

Patriot Campus emphasizes the importance of building strong and caring relationships between students, staff and the broader school community. The goal of these relationships are to foster a sense of belonging, trust, and mutual respect in a school where they are known. Patriot fosters relationships through class sizes of less than 20 and strong home room (advisory).

Relevance:

Patriot emphasizes connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences through active hands-on projects, community partnerships (industry presentations, field trips, job shadows, internships), and career-technical education. This helps students make connections between their personal interests and passions and the relevance of what they are learning while preparing them for future aspirations.

Rigor:

Patriot sets high expectations for both staff and students, fostering a collaborative environment tailored to student needs. Staff build deep relationships with students, allowing them to create authentic learning experiences and provide respectful accountability. This focus on collaboration, personalization, and student agency fosters an environment that empowers both staff and students to contribute to a successful and engaging learning experience.

Patriot Programs

6th-7th Grade   8th-9th Grade    10th-12th Grade

The Campus provides three specific programs for 6th-7th, 8th-9th, and 10th-12th grade students. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of students at each developmental stage, gradually releasing structure and support as students advance through each grade. Our 6th-7th grade program focuses on a successful transition from Elementary School to Middle School, with small class sizes, few transitions between teachers, and an equal focus on academic, social and organizational skills. As students transition into 8th-9th grade, they begin to take on more responsibility and ownership, with staff focusing on preparing them for high school through competency-based assessments, opportunities for autonomy/leadership, and academic, behavioral, and social/emotional skills. The culminating 10th-12th grade program focuses on making connections between their personal interests and career aspirations, including interest-driven courses, work-based learning, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways.

Students at Patriot Campus get to grow into young adults being known deeply in a community of trust and accountability, while developing the necessary skills to find success in whatever pathway they choose for their lives.
